NJAA WEBSITE TERMS OF USE

Welcome to the National Junior Athletic Association Inc.'s website (“Site”).
In consideration of your ability to access and/or use of the Site, these Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site. Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, responsibilities, and limitations. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and Acceptance
To use this Site, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or be at least 13 years old with the consent of your parent or legal guardian;
- Have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract with the National Junior Athletic Association, Inc. (“NJAA”); and
- Not be prohibited from using the Site under applicable law.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately. NJAA may amend or modify these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion and without notice. Any updates will be posted on the Site and will become effective immediately. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy
Please review NJAA’s Privacy Policy for information on how NJAA collects, stores, uses, protects, and discloses personal information obtained from Site visitors, donors, members, tournament, game, event, and program participants. All information you provide must be accurate, current, and complete. You agree to promptly update such information as necessary. NJAA is not responsible for any damages resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by users.
Copyright, Ownership, and Limited License
Unless otherwise noted, all content on this Site—including text, trademarks, graphics, photos, videos, software, design elements, and other materials (“Site Materials”)—are owned by or licensed to NJAA and protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. NJAA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You may not:
- Use the Site or Site Materials for commercial purposes or resale;
- Reproduce, distribute, display, or publicly perform Site Materials except as expressly allowed by the Site;
- Create derivative works from the Site or Site Materials;
- Use automated tools such as robots, scrapers, or data-mining tools;
- Copy or use NJAA’s trademarks without prior written consent;
- Download any portion of the Site except as expressly permitted;
- Use the Site for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
Any permission(s) granted under these Terms may be revoked at any time in NJAA's sole discretion.
Donations
Users may support NJAA by making donations through elements provided on the Site. You acknowledge:
- All donations are voluntary.
- Unless otherwise agreed, NJAA maintains exclusive legal control over all donated funds.
- Payment information you provide must be accurate and complete.
- All donations are final and non-refundable.
- If a donation cannot be processed, you agree to promptly update your payment information.
**** PLEASE NOTE THAT NJAA IS NOT CURRENTLY A TAX EXEMPT CORPORATION AND YOUR DONATIONS MAY NOT BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. NJAA IS IN THE PROCESS OF APPLYING FOR TAX EXEMPT STATUS WITH THE U.S. INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. BY USING THIS SITE TO MAKE A DONATION, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE CONSULTED YOUR TAX ATTORNEY AND ACCOUNTANT FOR GUIDANCE PRIOR TO MAKING A DONATION, OR THAT YOU ARE MAKING A DONATION WITHOUT AN EXPECTATION THAT IT WILL BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. FURTHER, YOU AGREE THAT NJAA HAS NOT MADE ANY REPRESENTATIONS INFORMING YOU THAT YOUR DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
User Submissions
Any comments, feedback, opinions, photos, videos, media, or other materials submitted to NJAA (“Submitted Materials”) are deemed non-confidential, except as stated in our Privacy Policy. By providing Submitted Materials, you grant NJAA a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, license to use, reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, and display Submitted Materials and modified Submitted Materials for any lawful purpose, including marketing, advertising, and fundraising, and we may sublicense Submitted Materials to third-parties for any lawful purpose.
You agree not to submit anything that:
- Disrupts the Site or harms its operations;
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or harmful;
- Infringes the rights of others (including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights);
- Includes viruses or malicious code;
- Misrepresents your identity;
- Portrays NJAA in a false or misleading manner;
- Conflicts with NJAA’s mission.
By submitting materials to NJAA, you represent that you have the legal right to do so. You are solely responsible for your submissions and any consequences arising from them.
Copyright Infringement Notification
NJAA respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright or any other intellectual property rights, please contact admin@njaa.org with sufficient detail to identify the allegedly infringing content. NJAA may provide the reporting party’s contact information to the individual who posted the challenged material.
Third-Party Links
NJAA's Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. NJAA does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, or services.
If you link to the NJAA Site:
- You may not imply NJAA endorsement;
- You may not display NJAA in a misleading, derogatory, or inappropriate manner;
- You may not use NJAA logos or branding without prior written permission;
- You must remove any link upon NJAA’s request.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all Site Materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” NJAA makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- Accuracy or completeness of Site content;
-Continuous or error-free operation;
-Fitness for a particular purpose;
-Non-infringement;
-Security or reliability of the Site.
Use of the Site is at your sole risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NJAA and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use the Site;
- Downloads or uploads through the Site;
- Donations submitted through the Site;
- Any third-party content or links.
Even if advised of the possibility of damages, NJAA’s liability remains limited.
Termination
NJAA may modify, suspend, or terminate the Site or your access to it at any time, without notice. You agree that NJAA shall not be liable for such actions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Any claims must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
International Use
NJAA operates from the United States. Accessing the Site from locations where its content is unlawful is prohibited. Users accessing the Site from outside the U.S. do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NJAA regarding Site access and use and supersede any prior agreements or representations.
Text Message Communications

- Message frequency may vary;
- Standard message and data rates may apply;
- Consent is not required for donations or program participation;
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP;
- Reply HELP for assistance;
- Carrier participation may vary.
